Shadeco are leading distributors of the Aluxor folding arm and Conservatory awning ranges on the Northern Beaches. Manufactured in Sydney from German parts, these are high quality, custom made, retractable shade structures.

 

Available in a number of different styles to suit various applications, these retractable awnings create an extended entertainment area protected from the sun and light rain.

The Stratos I awning is a classic style awning ideal for patios and balconies. It can be installed with a pelmet for additional weather protection. This awning can also be fitted with the Selectapitch™ option which allows you to change the angle of the awning from horizontal to vertical using the crank handle.

The Stratos III is a semi cassette style awning designed to protect the fabric and operating system when retracted. The extruded aluminium pelmet and fascia provides a neat and compact installation.

Our folding arm awnings can be manually operated with a crank handle or motorised using SOMFY motors.

The Sundream Conservatory Awning is a sunshade system especially designed for mounting above glass roofs or pergolas, to stop sun and heat before they reach the interior of your home.

Our custom-made awnings feature many options including a wide range of Dulux powder coat colours for the frame & cassette, Dickson Orchestra fabrics and SOMFY motors.

Technical information for our custom made Aluxor folding arm awnings:

Width of a single awning: 2m – 7m. Coupled awnings can be up to 21m.

Projection range available: 1.5m - 4m. The awning width must be greater than the projection.

Inclination range (set at the time of installation): 5° - 45°. The Select-a-Pitch option is available on smaller awnings to allow for manual pitch selection.
