Cleaning

Help maintain the premium appearance of your Weatherwell aluminium shutters with a thorough clean once every six months. Simply hose down, or use a nonabrasive cloth or sponge with warm soapy water.

Particular attention should be paid to stainless steel hardware – especially in coastal areas. If your property is directly on the beachfront, weekly cleaning is recommended.

Cleaning products with an alcohol-based solution may tarnish your shutters’ powder coat finish and are best avoided. it is recommended to use warm soapy water and a clean, soft cloth. It is also advisable that any salt reside or tannin stains from trees are removed on a regular basis to keep your shutters looking good!
